Interactive Art Piece in Barcelona, Spain

This interactive piece was created for an assignment at Elisava. I wanted to create a project that would inspire people to start a fiber hobby. Along with my group mates, we crocheted 102 flowers and attached each one to a paper with QR codes leading to English and Spanish YouTube videos about how to crochet flowers. The flowers were laid on a hand knit blanket and above there was a sign in the three main languages of Barcelona, telling anyone who passed to take a flower. We presented the piece on the streets of Barcelona in three different places. At the end of the day, 70 flowers had been taken and some of them might have started crocheting themselves.
