This triptych was inspired by a rushing river in Pennsylvania, and from there was influenced by other forms of water. Each piece was created using driftwood, glass beads, and cotton thread that was then tatted into elegant wall hangings. The tatting was freehanded which is uncommon for this form of lacemaking and connects back to the untethered energy of flowing water.
