This piece, inspired by the forest I grew up surrounded by, features tatted lace connected to driftwood and adorned with animal teeth. Although I admire nature, the unknown of the wilderness has always scared me. When I was young, my pet cat disappeared and was likely eaten by an animal in the forest. The loss of my cat saddened me, but at the same time, I gained respect for the animals and nature that surround us and learned not to disturb it.
