Acorn dyed paper, cotton thread

A continued experimentation of dyeing paper with acorns and using a sewing machine to draw on the paper. In contrast to the previous piece in the series, Black Oak, this tree’s limbs were strewn in angular directions that set about a feeling of disconcerting within the viewer that felt akin to the shadows made from the acorn dye.
