This shawl was knit with handspun art yarn; the wool and ribbons are both second hand. This yarn was inspired by summer in my town, Ithaca, and how protected I feel by the nature around me. I created a shawl out of summer yarn to protect me from the cold winter that I experience here. Although the cold seems as if it'll last forever, I always remind myself that summer will come again.
